Just found a terrific and fairly long radio interview with Vonnegut from
1996 that is available on the web as streaming Windows Media audio. The
interview is by Vin Scelsa and was originally broadcast on 3 November 1996,
on WNEW-FM, New York City. The film "Mother Night" figures prominently, of
course, but they talk about other things as well, and Vin plays recordings
of several songs which relate to Vonnegut or "Mother Night" somehow. The
interview can be accessed directly (on machines with software supporting
Windows Media formats) by clicking on the following link:

There are a number of other interesting interviews available from the same
web site, including Joseph Heller and Tim Robbins. They can be found as
follows: Go to
http://www.wfuv.net/. Click on "WFUV Archives" at the
left-hand side. Select "Vin Scelsa’s ‘Be My Guest’" from the "Choose a Show"
pull-down menu. I haven’t investigated any of the other shows available
there yet.
