Being more conventional minded, I'll try another of the traditionals.
This one must be 'mineral' (which I interpret rather broadly to cover
all inorganic matter of Arda/Eä).
Happy guessing

It figures in only one of the major books (Silm, CoH, TH, LotR). I have
not checked the more fragmented books (UT and the HoMe).

Random Questions - 1. The Appendicies state that the Witch King feared Boromir I. In the Return of The King, the Witch King doesnt seem to have to much fear about Gandalf. Doesnt it seem a little bit odd that he would fear a man but not a Maia? 2. What bloodline did..
Silly Ring questions that occur to me - When the Elves made the Seven and the Nine, were they racially specific in design from the start? If so, wouldn't Celebrimbor or someone have noticed that they were being made for men and dwarves? Would he not have thought that odd? And if they aren't..
