STORY OUTLINE

A professional married couple is also successful business partners.
The husband is a high-achieving workaholic, the wife less hard working
but extremely organized in her personal and business life. Husband has
a history of having sexual encounters but aside from that their
marriage appears to be a loving relationship. The couple is very
private about their personal life. The wife grows tired of the
husband's flings and the stress of managing the business and wants
out, staging her disappearance.

One Monday morning after she uncharacteristically missed several
appointments and did not return phone calls she fails to show up for
work. Police search the neighborhood; flyers are posted, and after a
week police locate her vehicle apparently abandoned in a bad
neighborhood. Inside are her purse, cell phone, keys in the ignition,
a gun, and an unknown amount of her blood in the cargo area. Police
also search their house for any evidence. They find that the sheets on
their common bed were recently changed with the wrong size, and the
maid, who always changed the sheets, confirmed this. Police start
suspecting the husband.

During this time the husband displays no grieving and continues his
extramarital behavior. Police start pursuing a murder case against the
husband. They ultimately convict him despite any overwhelming physical
evidence that links anyone to the murder.
