Guess the Talon codename introduced at the end of X-23:Target X didn't
stick?
Can't complain too much. While it makes sense in certain ways, its
very generic in others.

Has it been mentioned since the miniseries?

When given the choice btw X-23 and Talon, I'd go with the former.

Why not just call her Logana?

I'm just being semi-facetious. Wink

No, but is X-23 really a code name you want a character to have?

I have to say that the GotG never sprang to mind when considering a code
name for her.

Logan shortened it to "X" when they were going after Cable.

Regardless, X, X-23, and even Laura are all better than "Talon".

Kind of like how everyone calls Wolverine "Logan," despite the
brief push towards James Howlit (or whatever the spelling of the
last name was.)

Talon sounds like the name you'd give some poorly designed
cheap knock-off. At least X-23 has maintained some worth as a
character, so spare her that.

Talon is probably a better name, but she's far too established now as X-23.
Even if Marvel made a concerted effort to change her name, the old name
would stick for quite some time, I think.
