How did the scientists manipulated Wolverine's DNA so that she'd have two
claws per hand and one from her foot?

I was reading some articles about someone creating unicorn by surgically
removing the horn buds on a cattle and transplant them back at the center
its forehead. Could they have done something similar with the bone claws?
The bone claws grow back like the antlers so it's a thought.

They surgically moved them afterwards, I believe.

How is that possible? The claws were originally stored in her forearms but
now it's popping out of from the tip of her feet. Feet could bend in
multiple ways and cannot possibly store solid objects of such length. The
only possible way to do this is for the claws to pop out from her ankles.

She wasn't perfect due to the Wolvrine sample they had to work with.
Because of the dna they had to work with they had to make X-23 a girl to
solve certain problems. We are all female to start with, it's the extra
chromasone that shows up that maks us male or female. A girls wrists and
forearms are a lot smaller than a mans allowng for only 2 claws. It was
a surprise to the scientests when the foot claw showed up. To stimulate
the growth they removed the budding claws, which then grew back to full
size and they were then able to bond her with the adamantium.

I believe I read somewhere that the explanation was that in some species, the
female can have different claws than the male. So being female would
automatically mean having different claws. (Of course, "Wolverine clone"
isn't a species, but same principle.)

Yup. They didn't move the claws. She was born with two claws on each
arm and one claw on each foot. Apparently, the difference is due to
the replacement of Logan's Y-chromosome with one of Dr. Kinney's X-
chromosomes.

I just assumed that, if they can alter his DNA to make it female, they
can play musical claws too.
