And as the Little Jack Horner of Time pulls out his plums of Fate, and
the Little Tommy Tucker of Destiny looks for a rhyme we can use in a
family newsgroup, and it being the 25th of February, it's time to wish
a happy birthday to Melody, Buxom Barmaid and ex-Birthday-Keeper.

As part of the celebrations, we're going to stay even further away from
the Lundy than usual.

Hippo Bathday, BB!

I'm sure a moose will be along later with chocolates....

Many happy returns, Melody. Plonk the Firedrake behind the bar and
put your feet up for today.

Oh, and ....

"Chocolate Truffles, anyone?"

[Puts box on bar and dives out of the way]

Cadbury.
(I'll be back it a few minutes, I need to take a TS bowser up to
the far end of the village, so that the regiment can drink your
health while keeping out of sight (and earshot).)

To which end, there's a bowser of TS parked up behind the Castle,
where you *will* be invisible (and hopefully inaudible) from the
Lundy. Bring your own mugs and there will be birthday cake later.

Cadbury.

I'll take a half of that.

I always knew Isambard's acoustic suppression field would be good for
something!

Happy Birthday, Melody! Can I borrow the werepups?
We're having a doozy of a snow storm and I think
they'd have a great time playing in my yard. Too bad
I don't have a mini-plow to hitch them to, there's
been no sight of the "official" plow and we've got at
least 6 inches so far. It's supposed to turn to sleet
and rain eventually but so far mostly lots and lots of
white flakes.

Jackie
