So, as the title suggests, I believe it is once more time for me
to suggest a merry little round of holiday card snail-mailing
around. (And, in the case of a few of us, wwwwaaaaay around.)
As in previous years, here's how we can do it. If you're
interested, email me (m underscore thomas
number-of-books-in-a-trilogy at earthlink polkadot net) with your
snail-mail address and an appropriate name for the exterior of
envelopes. (Usenet names may puzzle postal workers. Or not.
Your choice.) Use an email subject line that includes "ABML"
near the front, so I can rescue emailed addresses from my Junk
folder if I have to.
Sometime before the international cheap-mailing deadline (note to
self: find out what that is -- hope it hasn't already passed),
I'll send out whatever addresses I've received so far. And, um,
let's see, by the end of November I'll definitely send them all
out. So if you want to be in the game, send me your address by
the end of November.
(Perhaps, to make costs fair, the international crowd could send
half-digital and half snail-mail cards? From the USA to points
abroad, that works out to being about the same cost as within-USA
all-snail-mail. Flip coins to pick who gets what kind of card?)
(Now. To write a midterm, or to grade homework assignments?
Decisions, decisions...)

Oh, and Megan forgot her usual disclaimer about it not being a Christmas
exchange, it's a Holiday card exchange, and any cards out by Chinese New
Year are perfectly acceptable! *G*

I'm in again. No change to email/snail mail address from last year.
Do you really need an email?

I'm in, will send my new address as next message
Btw, I do not mind to send everyone a Fribourg Postcart (cheap enough)
if you want...
And ah, would "Happy Timetraveller Day" (8th dec. if they did not change
the day) do ? (Sorry, I am in a Doctor Who trip just now, TV series,
books, etc)

I did?
Oh, I did.
But I called it a Holiday Card Exchange! I didn't specify
*which* holiday. :> Though my timing does strongly indicate I'm
refering to a middle-of-winter holiday.
Yes. What Kat said. It's more a middle of winter kinda card
exchange... pick your favorite middle of winter holiday. (Or,
alternately, pick the holiday you manage to get your cards out by!)

Ditto. And I have the same address as last year too.
I might even have last year's list on this computer - somewhere.

For the others who send out "Chinese New Year" cards, the date for 2008
is February 7th
Snail-mail address has been sent to Megan. Fortunately, I only have one
address to deal with this year!

I definitely have last year's list, both on my computer and in a real
hard copy address book, that I made after losing all my addresses to
computer glitches 3 years in a row. I may send out cards to people who
don't opt in this year, just because! *G* Spirit of the Season, and all
that.
My cards are even bought, since I saw some cute ones a couple weeks ago.
I bought with the ABML exchange in mind, as well as one I'm in charge of
starting this year on a forum. I've used ABML's rules as a basis.

Errr. Middle of a major weather season featuring extremes of
