Ah-whoops!

I nearly forgot. It is time (past time, actually) to organize the
annual card exchange. (Possibly too far past time for our
international folks -- sorry!)

If you wish to participate, email me your address (snail mail) and
the appropriate name to put above the address. (Usenet names are
not always the same as the names the post office recognizes.) And
let me know what email address I should send the list of
adddresses to. Send the address by... uh... by Nov 12th. Short
notice, but the holidays are a-galloping near.

As usual, should the usual holidays rocket past too fast for you,
there is always, say, Chinese New Year to fall back on at need.
The usual holidays are best, of course, so card can be included in
table-top collections and the other usual holiday clutter.

My email address is m[underscore]thomas[number of books in Last
Herald Mage series]@earthlink.net

Well, dang. I guess there is interest! I posted the above about
1.5 hours ago, and we already have a little list. :>

I will sign up again as soon as I decipher your email addy.

Thank deities you did not use 'number of books in the Dune "trilogy"'
since I can't count that high. Smile

I meant just the first X books about Vanyel. None of the books
that include post-death activities. :>

Yes, I'm paranoid about spam. Dunno why, since my work email
address is and must remain wide open for spammers to sniff.

And underscore is the character on the keyboard just to the right
of zero. Though you have to hit the 'shift' key to get the
underscore.

It's actually hard to think of a popular trilogy these days that
*stayed* just a trilogy. People keep writing follow-ons and
just-one-more novels for popular series. I thought of using the
Harper Hall of Pern books, but there were so many related books
written after the first couple trilogies it would be hard to
describe the right set without using the word trilogy.

Since I just sent my email to you using the address book entry from the
last card exchange, I did not even need to cheat and look at your 'from'
address you use to post to abml "[movies in LOtR]". Smile

Plus, I munged my home email address for the same reason. I let my gmail
account take the spam.

I thought it was next to the 'Any Key'. Wait, technically, it is.

It is almost like they enjoy their work, and possibly even getting paid
to write! Sometimes it is good when an author extends their series, and
sometimes...let's just say, not so good.

Oh, I did. But it was still my address book any ways.
