If I heard, understood, and remember correctly, Pterry is one of the
authors taking part in _Open Book_ on BBC Radio 4 next week,
hearable at and probably for a week after 1600 GMT on December
21st, discussing books /being made into films/.
Or not being made into films, as the case may be, but going
through the sometimes quite slow process of development - look
at _1492_ and _Carry On Columbus_, etc., didn't get into cinemas
until 500 years after the events portrayed. 501 years in one case,
I think? Anyway.
<http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio4/> presumably still allows you to
listen live in Windows Media or RealPlayer, or play back up to a
week later with RealPlayer. And the programme is broadcast
again on Christmas Day at 1915 GMT. (As a weekly feature, it
usually gets a repeat at 1600 on the Thursday, but Christmas Day
evidently has mixed everything up.)
