There is a small Italian science fiction publisher that risks
bankruptcy if he - only one person who does everything, from
translations to shippings - will not raise some money in the next two
weeks. Most books, both soft- and hardcover, have dustjackets. The
author most represented in the catalog is Simak with 10 novels,
including City. Most other authors are Italians, but the catalog
contains some surprises even for Americans, like "Birth of a New
Republic" by Jack Williamson and Miles J. Breuer, appeared in 1930, and
"Three Planeteers", a novel published by Edmond Hamilton in Startling
Stories in 1940 and NEVER REPRINTED even in English. The website of the
publisher is
WWW.PERSEOLIBRI.IT. Perhaps these books could be purchased
by sf fans of Italian origin, or by maniac collectors of "all the
editions of an author" even without being able to read them. I am NOT
affiliated with the publisher, but the catalog is well worth a look.
