Case 1: Unsigned FE and unsigned ARC. The FE wins.

Case 2: Unsigned FE and signed ARC. Probably the ARC wins. If the
author is unknown and not one that anyone cares about, then the FE will
also have little value. If the author is known and valued, the
signature will add enough to the overall value to make the ARC worth
more than the FE - unless the FE is a very small printing, e.g., To
Kill a Mockingbird. I have a middle ground situation. I have an ARC
of The Dante Club signed on the tile page by Mathew Pearl. I value it
but I am still looking for an FE.

Case 3 and 4: Signed FE wins all the time.

The FE. Unless the arc's signed by Noah, obviously.
