This is Volume 43, Science and Technology: A Supplement to Advances
in the Astronautical Sciences. 355 pages with b/w illustrations. This is
the proceedings of the Dedicated Conference of the International Space
Hall of Fame and held as a tribute to 35 Space
Pioneers. The purpose of this preliminary volume was to provide those in
attendance a summary on the state of the art and future expected for
spaceflight in scientific, engineering, life sciences and space law and of
progress of research into these disciplines. Condition is very good.

THE HUBBLE WARS by Eric Chaisson. NY: Harper 1995. This soft
cover book of 386 pages is illustrated in b/w & color. The author gives his
personal account of the Hubble project. He was an insider and director of
educational programs for the Space Telescope Institute. The book
discusses the backbiting & internal battles dealing with this project. The
book details the deployment, commissioning, and initial experiments of

declination. This volume describes some of the prizes that can be seen
only from the Southern Hemisphere. This book covers open and globular
clusters, planetary and diffuse nebulae, and galaxies. Part I gives a
