Hi there...
Here's an Intro, fwiw...
I have on and off participated in the Pub-Forum e-list. Is this group
related to that by any chance?
I like the google groups a lot. They're convenient! I'm hoping this is
a good one.
I've been a small press person for 15 years now. I do mostly outdoor
books (bike, boat, ski). All based on independent culture aspects (no
real "how to" or "guides").
My main site: outyourbackdoor.com.
Now here's my question!
....Has anyone here made their own AUDIO books?
With the author doing their own reading? How did you do it? I'm
pursuing the simplest way. I don't have the answer yet. Here's what I'm
considering:
*Use a Hi-MD recorder, Sony MZ-RH10, with external mic and whatever
headset
*Use a video-cam, ext mic and headset
*Use a nice old cassette recorder, ext mic and headset
Then I would upload files or just do a live feed to my computer and
burn CDs off the result (or convert to MP3s for selling as downloads).
Thanks for your thoughts about quality, feasability and such! : )
