I see Abarat 1's just hit the shelves here in NZ in Trade Paperback...

Any sign of Abarat 2?

I read an interview with Clive that said that he has not started the last book
of the art yet, but has it together in his head and it is still developing. He
did say that he expected it to be a big big book and he would probably need
more than a year to write it, but it would have to wait until after he has
finished the Abarat Quartet.

Amazon.uk is already listing an October 4, 2004 publication date for
the second volume, "Abarat: Days of Magic, Nights of War".

Bummer, I was wondering when that was planned, and couldn't see
anything about it on <a style='text-decoration: underline;' href="http://www.clivebarker.com" target="_blank">www.clivebarker.com</a> . I was hoping the final
book of the Art would come soon.. so if its coming after the Abarat
Quartet finishes when would that be? 2008? I can't wait that long Smile

speaking of Abarat - y'all who've read it aren't saying much about it - why is that? I mean...there IS a way to discuss stuff without spoilers - tell us your impression of it, kids. Coz the silence is making me think it's a polite 'if you can't say something nice don't say..

Abarat in Dutch - Are there any Dutch people who have already seen Abarat in Dutch? I've been looking for it, but I haven't found it yet. And for those who haven't read my messages before. That's because I'm new here. Nice to meet you all. William.
