I plan to get it,and am looking forward to it, but not sure when I'll be
able to read it. I should be moving soon and chaos will ensue at roughly
the same time.

I feel your pain brother. I've been trying to close on a house since may,
and my house is in a state of being half packed. The bank FINALLY came
through with the final approval (I swear they must be playing video games
all day). Now that it's in the hands of the lawyers, I feel much better.
Cool

Well, at least you can sit and read Arabat while the gods decide your fate.
I'm supposed to close tommorrow and move on Sunday. I won't be surprised if
it doesn't go through.

Abarat 2 still hasn't arrived ( should be a day or three away ) so
reading "Jonathan Strange and Mr Norrell" which is quite interesting -
slow, but not boring slow.

As for the house, I signed up for a new flat yesterday and not 2 hours
later got an email from the landlords solicitor saying the house I'm in
has been sold and I've been given my official "eviction" notice... good
that I got the flat first ;p<!-- ~MESSAGE_AFTER~ -->

Glad you got your situation sorted. Mine went off with only a few slight
hitches.

1) The bank gave me less than 2 hours notice on the amount of the check to
bring to closing.

2) There was a document that was supposed to be signed by both executors of
the estate property I bought (and they both live out of state), or by the
sellers attorney (who didn't bother to show for the closing). Not sure how,
but they pushed that through.

3) No one seemed to know where the key for the place was, and it took a few
hours to hunt it down.

Sadly, Abarat 2 didn't arrive for me either. I was sure it would be a
birthday present, but due to the closeness of moving my b-day was mostly
forgotten. I have a few coupons for Media Play (one of the giant
music/movie/book stores) somewhere. When I find them I'll go buy it for
myself.
