Good source. Don't forget Holy Fool, a so-so biography of Neal. There are
several ginsberg bios available (www.bookfinder.com, amazon.com), but as
far as I know none are on the level of the best burroughs and kerouac bios.

OOPS - that's Holy Goof for Neal Cassady, not holy fool. Author is Plummer
and it is widely available cheap on bookfinder.com

Kerouac himself of course did lots of bio on Neal! "Visions Of Cody",
et al. But not the later years... thanks for the link, Linda.

Hendrick, I have not read that one, but there is a Cassady/Kerouac flick
(female star Sissie Spacek) to explain more than On The Road.

It's called *HeartBeat* and Nick Nolte is one of the male leads; that's
all I recall about said flick.

There's the Nick Nolte/Sissy Spacek Heart Beat (1980) flick derived from
Carolyn Cassady's autobiography. Not available on DVD (?) yet. Not a bad
flick, just no audience for it.
