At the end of the great battle between Peter's army and the Witch's
army, a huge horde of destoned reinforcements arrive from the Witch's
castle and sweep over her army (I liked the giant simply scooping
minotaurs out of his way). Just after Aslan eats the Witch for lunch,
the troops from the castle appear to go blurry and disappear (I didn't
see the huge crowd of destoned people after the battle). Why did most
of Aslan's destoned reinforcements disappear just after the Witch's
death? Did Aslan Rapture most of the destonees (except for Tumnus, the
Fox, and that lion Edmund drew his Mark on) up to his Heaven after the
battle? If so, why? Why not simply allow them to complete their
interrupted lives in Narnia?

I didn't get any responses until now. I thought that my previous
headings might not have been attention getting enough.

I saw the reinforcements from the Witch's castle go all blurry and then
disappear, and I did not see hordes of reinforcements standing around
after the battle, so I wondered what had happened to them.

For the same reason, I suspect, that you posted the same question three
times under different headings.....

But seriously, because you didn't see them, is that a proof they didn't?

No. You answered that question *yourself* by admitting that we see a
number of the "destonees" (such as Tumnus, the Fox, and that lion)
later on.

So instead of asking a semi-trollish question that's already been
answered by the movie, your time would have been used in asking
yourself *what* this blurring and disappearance may mean, as it
OBVIOUSLY and SELF-EVIDENTLY doesn't mean that they were "raptured to
heaven".

For example, *my* interpretation of that scene, is that we see it from
the point of view of Peter, where he has a sort-of religious experience
in witnessing the Utmost Reality that Aslan is, turning everything and
everyone else (especially the transient chaos of battle) to mere
insignificant blurs by comparison.

Why waste your and our time with questions that you've already answered
yourself, instead of asking the question that is actually open, the one
inviting actual interpretation and theorizing?

In the rest of that scene, as the four children enjoy their reunion, and as
we fly over the scene just before the trnasition to Cair Paravel, I did not
see the hordes of reinforcements who came from the castle standing around.
Shouldn't they have unblurred after Peter was done witnessing the Utmost
Reality that Aslan is?

I imagine they're supposed to have been pursuing the enemy. Perhaps
they should have been seen. That's a complaint for the director
however,
not a reason to believe they were "raptured": As you said we see
several
of them afterwards, therefore it's a fact that they were NOT
"raptured".

It had crossed my mind that most of them might have been "raptured" because they
did not belong in Narnia, since they would have been dead by now if they hadn't
been stoned, so they got a free ticket to Heaven. I figured that the marked lion
might have been stoned recently, so hadn't exceeded his normal time in Narnia.
Ditto for Tumnus and the fox.
