Arwen / Aniron - Is the stuff in the film with Arwen like the book? The first scene with Arwen, when she causes the river to rise up, in the book is a different elf. I thought the Arwen stuff slowed down the film but it had nice music. In the Enya song she says

Arwen and Mortality Question - Hey Guys, Can you help me with this one. 2 1) What is the nature of her choice and why is it that she has this doom laid upon her? Is it because like Elrond, she has human lineage and therefor has to make the same choice about..

Arwen: Did she really choose to be of the Edain? - Did Arwen *really* choose to be one of the Edain? Or did she just choose to die? I ask this because I notice that if Arwen really chose to be one of the Edain, she would have died on the spot, being well over 2,000 years old... or does a human..

What happened to Elrond's wife (and Arwen's mum?) - It's been a few years since I read the novel, but I don't remember any mention of her.

Caught the 10 minute sneak preview of the Return of the Kings (on the Two
Towers DVD) and it looks like the Paths of the Dead scene will not include
Arwen. The way the preview looked, in fact, it seems that Jackson has cut
everyone but Aragorn, Legolas and Gimli out of it. So he has changed the
scene, but not in the way we most feared.

I thought the Paths of the Dead episode was rather weak and unnecessary
to begin with. After you've been through Moria, and Cirith Ungol, and
the Barrow-Downs, this other underground jaunt just doesn't impress
you. Moria, on the other hand, is scary every time you read it.

In the movie there is a good change the opposite happens. This is something
PJ is really good at: raising the dead Smile
