I fully agree with the statement on the back cover of this little
booklet “There will always be room in our lives for short stories.”
And short Pagan-friendly stories will always find a spot on my
bookshelf.

Some of these stories are not specifically Pagan-themed, but that
wasn’t the purpose of this collection. These anthologies are drawn
from “…Flying Witch Publications annual Golightly Awards, which is
based on the storyteller’s tradition of tales told by flickering
firelight.”

Some of these tales seem achingly familiar while some merely evoke
well-remembered themes from our past. All of them, however, are
quick, enjoyable reading experiences.

I look forward to more such anthologies being produced.

This is an ideal little booklet to toss in your bag for when you have
a few minutes to fill while waiting for an appointment. Pick up a
copy and enjoy it.
