Rainmaking effort
The Bureau of the Royal Rainmaking and Agricultural Aviation expects to make rain in the North and the Central
region this week.
Waewchark Kongpolporm, the bureau's director, said there would be enough moisture to make artificial rain
around April 8 and 9, as southeasterly winds would carry the moisture from the Gulf of Thailand onto the
mainland.
The bureau sprays chemicals to stimulate particles to form bigger clouds.
The North and the Central regions are the hardest hit by current drought.
