Ferris, James Cody, THE X BAR X BOYS ON WHIRLPOOL RIVER, Illustrated
by Walter S. Rogers. NY: Grosset & Dunlap, 1926, later printing (this
title listed 3rd of 5 in front book list, 3rd of 7 in rear ad and on
front flap.) Grey cloth with maroon lettering outlined in black on
front, black lettering on spine, in dustjacket with mylar cover. Book
is in Good- condition, binding tight, two previous owner names on
first free endpaper, pages lightly tanned. Slight edgewear to covers,
Water stain to upper end of spine and front cover, going into some
lettering, does not bleed to inside, but shows on dustjacket.
Dustjacket has chips out of all corners, one 2-inch closed tear to
front with some wrinkling, upper end of spine water-stained and
frayed, missing area at front edge, lettering compromised. Still
fairly attractive in the mylar cover, scarce jacket.
