Hi All

At 9.58 am on September 25th my second son was born. He took two good
glups of air (with intermittent screams akin to the wail of a startled
pig - yet still curiously loveable) he was fully pink. Since then he
has been eating us out of house and home and allowing very little
sleep besides.

Ah, the joys of parenthood.

Wouldn't have it any other way.

Well, OK, a little more sleep would be good, but what ya gonna do?

Zachary Jay.

He weighed in at 8lb 13oz. Bit of a runt really, as his big bro was
11lb 8oz! (And before you wincing ladies ask, yeah, c-section.)

Cheers

I order mine in advance. Unfortunately, it keeps turning up at
moments when I don't want it.

Congrats, anyway.

Congratulations! At least now we know where you disappeared to. And get
used to the not sleeping, my Mum says it lasts until they move out, and
even then they call at two in the morning when they are worried about
the baby...

Prefer the giant economy size?

And yes, ouch. Even with a c-section.

If breastfeeding, half-a-pint of stout drunk by the mother about
half-an-hour before the last evening feed can lead to a splendid six-hour
cessation of squawkage, according to the very old-fashioned midwife I used
to know. Mead was also said to be good for the same purpose. She did not
advocate gin either for mum or in the baby's bottle...

Cool. Many congrats from me and the Girls in Spandex (tm).

They'll be around shortly to pamper the baby and they'll bring plenty of
gifts from our 'new-born baby' - trunk, such as silver rattlers, some
comforters and Aloe, Mirre and Gold for the parents.
