I have some questions about "Biography of a Face"

Hello~ My name is Young. I'm learning English now ^^
I'm a Korean girl.
If you already read the book "Biography of a Face", it would be really
easy.



1.In the book, what other factors(Not her cancer) made Lucy's life
hard and different from everyone else?

2. What did she want most in the world to have when she was young??
And why?

3. I think Lucy was much more wise for someone so young although she
was young. How come this happen?



The hardest question.!!!
"As a child, I expected my liberation to come from getting a new face
to put on, but now I see that it came from shedding something,
shedding my image."
What does it mean??

I read the book 2 times. I couldn't undstand it..
