Where did Polynesian come from? If anything, IIRC, he's Australian aborigne
by descent.

More importantly as they are two generations apart in "real time" terms
(Bishop being from about 70 years in the future) there's nothing to say Cage
and Bishop couldn't be related since that's plenty of time for three
generations to intervene, which would give Bishop the usual 8
great-grandparents.
