Do I need to read Taltos before I read Blackwood Farm?

I read Interview and Lestat in the eighties, LOVED them, Queen of the
Damned had its moments (Mekare, Maharet, that whole thread is what I
enjoyed). After Body Thief, became disenchanted but read Memnoch
anyway, liked it not much more than Body Thief. At some point, I also
read Witching Hour. Pandora and Vittorio were okayish. I enjoyed
Armand. I listened to the unabridged audio version of Merrick earlier
this year - I thought it started out good and had lots of potential,
but was a TOTAL let down.

I just finished Lasher, the ending angered me. The story was very
interesting, I thought, but the ending was just retarded. Also, I hate
Rowan and Michael and find Mona annoying. So, I'm not much inspired to
read Taltos, unless I'll be missing something for Blackwood Farm.

The only books I've not read (from Vampire and Mayfair chronicles) are
Taltos, Blood and Gold, Blackwood Farm, and Blood Canticle.

Keeping all this in mind, any advice?

If you've read the Witching Hour and Lasher, Taltos won't tell you anything
you don't already know. They're a good foundation for Blackwood Farm.

Blackwood Farm was a good story, don't waste your time or money on
Blood Canticle.
Take care,
