Hey, I was wondering how rigid book release dates are. In other words,
do bookstores ever shelve books early? I'm guessing it mostly depends
on the actual bookstore.

Basically, I'm itching to get my hands on DTV. Does anyone know any
stores that might shelve it a day or two early? (I live in New York
City.)

Thanks a lot in advance!

After the HUGE stink that was raised when a Canadian grocery store put
out copies of HP5 a day or two early????? I believe Scholastic (the
publisher of the Harry Potter books) was going to sue the store for
that move. Not worth losing a business entirely to beat the rush.

Ah, okay. I hadn't heard about that. Alright, just one day left at
this point anyway! Thanks for the reply.
