I have a "friend" that says he has a signed copy of a book of Isaac Asimov's
that was signed in Texas. I don't recall in any of the Bio's of the Good
Doctor, that he was ever in Texas.
Any truth to this?

I doubt very much that Asimov ever went to Texas. He did make it to
California once (by train), but other than the cruises mentioned in his
autobiography, he rarely ventured more than a day's drive away from home.

It is ironic, I think, that man who earned fame and fortune writing about
journeys between stars hated traveling.
