Book Suggestions needed!

hi all. I'm hoping some of you can help me find books that will renew
my interest in mystery books. lately i've read a lot of who-dunnit
kind, with lots of action, but i have to admit i'm not captivated by
'action' books. The kind of books i'm looking for are similar to
"Angels and Demons" or the "Da Vinci Code" where there are secret
passageways and puzzles and riddles and all that jazz. I also liked
the "The Last Templar" but I must say i'm tired of the "Christ
conspiracies" or templar books. Just a good riddle/puzzle mystery
about just about anything else, i'm game to try - especially the ones
that have some drawings in the book relating to the riddles presented
(the mysterious latin on the gravestone, the symbol on the doorway
etc)

I'm hoping people can give me a bunch of suggestions for books or
authors, or web sites that will give me suggestions.

I just got back from the library and I picked up a book that seems
like it might be just the sort of thing you are looking for. I have
not actually read this book yet, so I can't say if it is any good or
not; but the description on the dust jacket says: "Combining the
historic scope of The Da Vinci Code with the relentless thrills of
today's best action novels, James Rollins' Black Order is a classic
adventure - an ingenious and breathtaking tour de force that explodes
wit revelations....." It sounds like it has 'all that jazz' like
you are asking about.
