Anyone know when Anne's new book is coming out? It's supposed to be a totally
new direction and has been veiled in secrecy...

Be well.

I remember reading on her site last year that it was scheduled for
October 2004; but certainly more would have been said about it now. As
for the book, I would guess that it may be something along the lines of
realistic--non-supernatural. Which is a genre that Anne sometimes gets
criticized for ignoring. She has written two novels of this nature:
"Exit to Eden" (1985) and "Belinda" (1986), which I feel, along with the
first three Chronicles and the Mayfair Trilogy are her best work. I
think it will be interesting to see.

Is she still trying to write a book a year? She should really take some
real time off, as some have said that this was the problem with her latest
books.<!-- ~MESSAGE_AFTER~ -->

Ummm those were S&M, B&D erotica...

Not sure if that is the area she wants to expand into as well.

I did read somewhere that she is taking her religion to more serious degrees
now and writing about them.
