Post subject: Book printing/binding: anyone that can help with estimate of costs in Australia and the UK?

Anyone that has estimates on what it would cost to produce a book with
the specifications as shown below in Australia and the UK? Numbers:
5000-10000-20000-30000.

Page Extent: Book of 192 pages text.
Trim Page Size: 198mm x 140mm (Portrait format, no image within 5mm
from trimmed edge)

Text: MATERIAL SUPPLIED - PDF files for CTP production.
PRINTING - Web-fed offset in black ink throughout.
STOCK. 80gsm Book Cream

Cover: MATERIAL SUPPLIED - PDF files for CTP production.
PRINTING - 4 colours plus gloss lamination on one side only.
STOCK - 220gsm One Sided Artboard

Binding: Perfect bound, square back and trimmed flush. Gatefolds 90
mm front and back

Hi,

It sounds like you know what you are looking for. That's a good thing, as
it will make finding a printer easier. Do what I did, grab your phone book
and look under 'printers' and start calling around. Also look outside of
your area, other cities, etc. After calling around and visiting various
printing companies in my city I looked up a few places online and found a
really good one in another city not far away. Try not to look too far way
as the shipping cost would likely eat up any savings.
