Any Bookmarks Collectors Out There - Anyone else collect those paper things used to mark your place a book? Would be interested in trading, if anyone is so inclined.
For Orwell collectors - Some points on which I differ with Fenwick: Coming Up ... US 1st 1950 - F. lists B.5.60 on copyright page and artist's (Hawkins) signature on fron of d/j - My copy misses both of these Animal Farm - First US 1946 - F. has artist's signature on bottom..
Magic Book Collectors - I've been reading up on magic book collecting recently. A fascinating field about which I can say this: it seems that anyone who gets seriously interested in magic must collect books. I can't think of comparable hobbies that so necessitate bibliophilia... |
