BestBookBuys has some copies at low cost.
Consulting the on-line catalog of my public library[1], I find that it
has a copy; and (new catalog feature) a brief review mentions /The/
/David/ /Story/ by Robert Alter. Subtitle:a translation with commentary
of 1 and 2 Samuel.
