"House of Leaves" probably can't be in an audio book format because of
how it is written, with multiple levels of footnotes to footnotes. It
can be hard to follow even written out. I would recommend "Catch-22" if
you haven't read it. I know it is out there in audiobook form. I also
know it isn't really a mystery or suspense novel, not that you aren't
wondering what will happen next. If you like spy stuff, a lot of Len
Deighton's are out in audio book format.
