The Film Medley ~ Season Finale
A Tribute to Charles Bukowski
On Monday, we'll be screening Bukowski: Born Into This.
Using an array of interviews with the author and the people who knew
him best, including relatives, neighbors, girlfriends, fellow poets,
and friends such as Bono, Sean Penn, Harry Dean Stanton, and Barbet
Schroeder.
Author Charles Bukowski (1920-1994) Best known for Notes of a Dirty Old
Man, Love is a Dog From Hell, and the screenplay for Barfly, he
achieved international celebrity as a poet, novelist, and underground
icon who is now considered one of the most influential authors of his
generation.

Following the symposium with Magnolia Pictures, there will be a
Bukowski party across the street at Patio, sign-up at the bar to read
your favorite Bukowski poem at the open mic.
