Just read the new Niven/Cooper release. Not bad. I just want to know who
spell and grammar checked this work?

I disagree. The phrases "spell checked" and "grammar checked" have passed
into common usage, thanks to the ubiquity of word processing software.
Combining them in this way is fine.

Just finished it, and didn't see any howlers. Usually I'm pretty
sensitive to such. It was a good story, which helps.
