Business/Finance Book - what's the title or author?

My wife was reading a book review in the Globe&Mail about 6 weeks ago. The
review
was non-fiction work about a European immigrant (Polish I think) that had
come to the
USA and made a fortune in the business world. He was now divesting himself
of USA
assets because he was unhappy with the financial climate in the USA.
Assuming I've
got the premise correct, does anyone know the title and/or author. I'm
assuming it was
a released fairly recently.
