You can look up your book in the on-line LoC catalog -- and you'll see
what cataloging data is available.
CIP data is supposed to be formatted following some arcane and very
particular rules. Starting with the data from the LoC catalog, you might
be able to get a local _cataloging_ librarian to help you format the
data properly for printing in the book as Publisher's Cataloging In
Publication data. Do NOT list the data as Library of Congress CIP (even
though you got the data from the LoC) as that will seriously upset the
LoC and you don't want the Federal Government to make a Federal case out
of it...
However, if the book is already published -- and you've already sold
some to libraries, their cataloging librarians will look at the LoC
catalog data anyway -- so I don't know if it's really worth the bother.
