Ladies and gentleman, boys and girls, and other people of irregular
birth.

This is the official announcement for registration for DexCon VIII, the
oldest, largest, and premier convention of comic book fanfiction.

Since its beginning in 1998, DexCon has grown from a handful of
regional ficcers into a major international event, drawing together
fans from all corners of the globe. From 11 countries, over 160
different fanficcers; readers, writers and personalities have attended
DexCon.

Held in the safe and beautiful city of Toronto, Canada, DexCon is a
combination social gathering and creative meeting, offering offers four
days of dinners, talks, sightseeing and fun. This year, DexCon VIII:
Bootlegged will take place from July 28th-Aug 1st, and will include
loads of events and activities. In previous years, a workshop was held
and if there is enough interest, it will be organised again this year.

Registration is open at the official DEXCON website at
www.drinkwithdex.com. Deadline at 15th of June. The registration form
is easily accessible along with FAQs, information, prices and schedules
and all the latest information. Additional questions can be sent to
