Any favorite Christmas ghost stories? Mine would be Burrage's "Smee".

'Smee' is one of my favourite ghost stories (Christmas or otherwise) of all
time. Another is 'The Tale of the Goblins Who Stole a Sexton' fro Dickens's
PICKWICK PAPERS. Just finished reading it to our six-year-old, who loved it.

I've always thought of that (probably wrongly) as a dry run for A
Christmas Carol. I have "The Goblins Who Stole a Sexton" on tape, read
by everyone's favourite Santa Claus ... Boris Karloff.
