Friends:

For those interested: You can find an article in _Christianity Today_
Weblog: The War for C.S. Lewis: The Prequel - Christianity Today
Magazine
http://www.christianitytoday.com/ct/2001/129/22.0.html
Therein you will find others link including one for a response Kathryn
made in the Merelewis moderated group.
I'm not comfortable reproducing her response here. It can be found in
full in the public reference given above.

For those who would like to know of Kathryn's work and something
about her life see her website at:
http://www.lindentree.org/

Whatever you decide, know that Kathryn Lindskoog was devoted to the
memory and legacy of Clive Staples Lewis.

For various views of Walter Hooper from the man himself, it may be
useful for you to read his Preface to _Poems_ and his preface to the
revised edition of the _Letters of C. S. Lewis_ ed. by Walter Hooper.

For a delightful site (cite) see:
http://www.aslan.demon.co.uk/hooper.htm
And for further delights (no fooling!), not necessarily having to do
with the question at hand (probably a very, very good thing!) click
_home_ at the bottom of the article. Wink

Happy digging as I go back to my digging.

Blessings,
Ann
