So what's up with Claremont's upcoming titles and work? I haven't heard
anything about his absence in a long while, and I'm wondering how the
man is currently doing, how much longer will he be out of the running?

And please, no lame-ass remarks in the line of "hopefully forever".

No real news. Apparently, he's better, but hasn't started working again
yet.

>From Quesada's last column at Newsarama :
"Chris is doing well, as a matter of fact I just saw him yesterday.
While I haven't discussed the Manara project recently with him, as far
as I know, all is still a green light and Chris will get to it as soon
as he's feeling up to it. "

>From solicitations, he can't be back before at least EXILES #89 and NEW
EXCALIBUR #16. Maybe a bit after that, even.

It's a "X-Women" OGN by Claremont and famous Italian artist Milo
Manara, edited by Panini Comics/"Marvel Europe". Still in conception
phase.

Expect massive power-ups.

Boy... at this point, that joke is even more expected than the
power-ups.

Glad I refrained from my "conception" joke, then...^_^

Fine. Hopefully for many years, after which he dies and therefore no
longer exists and cannot be said to be in or out of the running one way
or the other.

See, "hopefully forever" would've been more concise.

you'd rather he be ill and/or dead than to write an x-book?

Actually, saying nothing would have been more concise, among its other
merits.
