This might or might not be the right group to ask this in.

I have a fairly large collection of books and I would really like to
put them in a database. Does anyone have any suggestions on a good
database for such a task? I would prefer something with MySQL and PHP,
but I'm willing to look into other options.

Thank you

You could create your own using a spread sheet. I purchaased
Readerware software package. See their web site. You can also get a
free package from <a style='text-decoration: underline;' href="http://www.abebooks.com." target="_blank">www.abebooks.com.</a>

It wouldn't be that hard to do yourself. I did one using MySQL
and Perl for DVDs in a few days. What sucks is that the web site I
was stealing barcode information from died.
