hehehehe ....It was "Isle of Dogs" I believe and I could not get through it.
I prefered the "Kay Scarpetta" character anyway. I really think Cornwell is
a better writer than Reichs, but maybe she has run out of ideas. Oh yes,
"Bare Bones" was terrific. Cornwell has a new one coming out in October (on
order at Barnes and Noble) - called "Blowfly" which I will read. So do you
know of any other similar writers who draw on their experience? Before
Lehane I was reading Jeffrey Deaver and he is pretty satisfying - I like the
Lincoln Rhyme series ("Bone Collector" - made into a movie with Denzel
Washington)
