Valiant. To the great Western wood, King Edmund the Just. To the
radiant Southern sun, Queen Susan the Gentle, and to the clear Northern
Sky, I give you King Peter the Magnificent. Why was Aslan giving the
Royal children to the four directions?

It was really a Wiccan ceremony.
Seriously, it was not an uncommon thing in many rites, there are
Archangels also associated with each of the
directions...seasons...elements...tarot suits...etc. I would more
curious to know why they picked sea, wood, sun and sky; sea and sky make
sense and I suppose wood could be earth and sun fire, but...

How was it decided in which thrones the 4 kids would sit? (Going from
left to right when facing the thrones, Edmund, Peter, Susan, and Lucy). >> Stay informed about: Coronation Of Peter Et Al |

Alternating left to right, (right to left from the pov of the thrones)
from the center, by age. The High King would naturally be in the
center.
I really wonder why they didn't have any offspring considering how long
they lived in Narnia.
