Also, Raven wasn't Gambit and Belladonna's biological daughter. Gambit rescued
X-Man (Mutant X) and Raven from Apocalypse. Sinister had no interest in Raven,
so he allowed Gambit to keep Raven and he raised her as his adoptive daughter.

Didn't know that (obviously). Makes me wonder which summers Raven was a
byblow of though. But heck it bugs me if the mutant Captain America has an
equivalent in the normal marvel universe.

Sinister with no interest in a summers? That's how you know it's an
alternate universe.  <!-- ~MESSAGE_AFTER~ --> >> Stay informed about: Cyclops/Havok/Gambit |

Well, maybe that's the case in the Mutant X universe. Doesn't mean it's
true in the MU.<!-- ~MESSAGE_AFTER~ --> >> Stay informed about: Cyclops/Havok/Gambit |

Maybe she didn't have the right genetic structure or something.
Or maybe... it's cause she was a girl... if you know what I mean...

Genetically, she was the daughter of Alex and either Jean or Maddie
(probably the latter). Sinister of Mutant X couldn't get the genes of Scott
since he was in space with the Starjammers.

Well, he figured he had what he needed -- X-Man.

I've always assumed that the mutant Captain America was Vance
Astrovik. In the 60's, Cap's shield would return to his hand with the
aid of magnetized gauntlets. Leter, his uncanny ability to catch his
shield was explained as the result of a lifetime of training. In the
Mutant X Universe, I assumed that the regular MU's B-level telekinetic
jumped into a role that was abruptly vacated due to one of Steve's
wacky encounters with a Cosmic Cube-empowered Red Skull.

My theory is that the supersoldier serum would enhance a mutant's powers to
their utmost potential, hence Mutant X's Cap's immense power levels.
That does leave the question of why cap's hair was blonde though. Hair
color is an odd thing to change between realities, although certainly possible.<!-- ~MESSAGE_AFTER~ --> >> Stay informed about: Cyclops/Havok/Gambit |

I forgot about the blond hair, but I still stand by my theory. He may
have been trying to emulate the original Captain America. A quick
application of hair dye would be the perfect cover up, especially if
Cap's death is considered a state secret.

It could that the SuperSoldier Serum had a sideeffect on Cap's hair
making it blonde!

And why bother bleaching his hair? He wasn't pretending to be steve rogers,
he was fighting crime as captain america.
It's not like there's a rule that captain america has to be blonde, nor do I
recall Cap's costume in mutant X showing his hair, with the possible exception
of his eyebrows.<!-- ~MESSAGE_AFTER~ --> >> Stay informed about: Cyclops/Havok/Gambit |

Not for long. Their numbers are dwindling. One day it shall be the blondes

You might have a point, the brown is definitely outnumbering the blonde on my
head at this stage. It's the blonde's own fault, it shouldn't have gone all
dry and snapped in the summer. And I don't buy its "It was the bleach" excuse.
