Just like to thank Stephen King, if he were to drop in here by chance and
read any of these messages, for giving me the coolest ride I've ever had
while reading any series of books. Loved the final book to the DT series,
was critical of WOTC but got over it.
Putting myself in Kings boots as he finished the last book of such an epic
tale would keep me tossing and turning in bed for weeks knowing that there
could be a huge wave of pissed off diehards ready to give me a hard time due
to the ending (any ending). That old adage "you can't please all the people
all the time". I really think he was being way to hard on himself in his
Authors note.
Kick back and enjoy some R&R, I bet those fingers of yours (like Rolands
boots) are damn close to worn out as well.
