This WWII U.S. Army WAC Magazine is in very good condition. It is titled,
(Overseas Woman) and is dated, August-September 1945. This magazine was
published on a monthly basis for women stationed overseas. The booklet
measures 7 inches x 9 inches and is 40 pages. This booklet describes the war
and the occupation from a womans perspective. There are chapters on women in
the ETO, hunger facing the European countries due to the war vs. German well
fed population, the Pacific theatre, WACs in the Army Occupation of European
theatre, dating, entertainment, and more.
The book is in very good condition. There are no tears, loose or missing
pages, water or soiling stains, creases, but the front cover has a remnant
of rubber band stuck to front cover and written (Keep This) on the front
cover.
