Post subject: Question about Deadly Genesis

The author said it was inspired by some sort of continuity gap. I was
wondering if they said what that was. I'm guessing that it has
something to do with how Scott got off Krakoa to lead the All New All
Different team.

I'm not at all positive, but I think it has to do with Scott/Cyclops
suddenly waking up near the Blackbird and escaping Krakoa with his optic
blasts not working, then coming back at a higher strength, as well as no
real discernment in the story as to how long between when the original
X-Men were captured, when Scot Escaped, and when the ANAD team was
formed and sent to Krakoa.

Corrections and additions to that more than welcome.

I thought Krakoa let Scott go so he could bring back more mutants for its

That was the explanation given at the time but the whole escape was
kind of vague and ambiguous...and Cyke's power boost was never
explained at all (at least to my knowledge).
