Archived from groups: alt>books>george-orwell (more info?)

So when the guy showed up on ABGO a few months ago Martha Bridegam
kissed his ass.

Because he read Orwell. You could almost see her cream her jeans.
Because she had decided, moral judge that she was, that "he" was one
of the good guys. He went to Iraq to help. He went to Iraq for the
right reasons. "Eat your vegetables" she told him. No comment about
the fact that he carried an AK-47. CIA? No, he read Orwell. Sigh.

Since then Martha disappeared, in a huff, in a snit, too pure to live
in the real world.

Since then numerous contractors have been murdered by savages. No
comment from little Martha. Does she know they didn't read Orwell too?

Since then the savages have beheaded a kid who went to Iraq to find
business and help Iraqis. Would the significance of his death change
if we knew whether he read and agreed with Orwell? Whether he too was
a democratic socialist?

The fact is, that every week in Iraq, they are murdering Orwell.
Murdering those who are fighting for freedom against the terror and
fanaticism of fascim and totalitarianism.

The fact is that the Martha Bridegams of the world have blood on their
hands.

They have murdered Orwell.
