Dan Aykroyd, as Elwood Blues of the Blues Brothers, has interviewed
over 900 blues and rock greats for his popular radio series "The House
of Blues Radio Hour." The best of those interviews have been collected
in "Elwood's Blues," an entertaining collection of conversations.
Radio producer and co-editor Ben Manilla will discuss "Elwood's
Blues," and will be joined by musician Charlie Musselwhite, the
subject of one of the interviews in this new book. [ Copies of
"Elwood's Blues" - signed by Dan Aykroyd - will be available at the
event. ]

talk and booksigning celebrating J.R.R. Tolkien and The Lord of the
Rings
Friday, December 10th at 7 pm
Alan Lee - acclaimed artist, world-renowned Lord of the Rings
illustrator, and conceptual designer for the film trilogy - will
discuss his long involvement in creating the visual world that
accompanies the books and films based on the works of J.R.R. Tolkien.
Lee will present a slideshow, give a talk, show artwork, and answer
questions; a booksigning will follow. Don't miss this very special
event!
Alan Lee will be promoting "The Art of The Lord of the Rings." Many of
the images included in this volume, depicting pivotal scenes and
characters, were previously embargoed and have never appeared in book
form. The work of Alan Lee and John Howe the two artists most
closely associated with Tolkien's world is featured, along with that
of many other talented artists and designers.
